CONNECTION BETWEEN TRIBAL SOCIETIES WITH NATURE
Elements of Jogwan
The Jogwan initiative serves as a resource library and support system for underprivileged tribal societies, aiming to preserve their traditional knowledge. This knowledge is closely tied to nature, reflecting the strong connection tribal communities have with their environment. The initiative highlights how various elements, such as traditional practices and spiritual beliefs, showcase this profound bond between tribal societies and nature.
Tribal societies all around the world have a very close symbiotic relation with the forest for their habitat and ecology. These jungle lands are the source of daily livilihood for the tribals.
The negative space denotes the abtract form of tribal people connected with nature.
The cultural significance of the sun in these communities often stems from their deep connection to the natural world, their reliance on the environment for survival, and their spiritual beliefs.
Elephants play a pivotal role in shaping their habitat and directly influence forest composition and density, disperse seeds, and alter the broader landscape. In tropical forests, elephants create clearings and gaps in the canopy that encourage tree regeneration.
Mountain and lands are not just physical spaces but are intertwined with the spiritual, cultural, and historical aspects of indigenous peoples' lives, emphasizing the profound connection between tribal societies and their environment.
Water represent the flow of life, the ebb and flow of time, or the cyclical nature of existence. Water often has a spiritual significance, symbolizing purity, renewal, and transformation.
